Bey Tax & Advisory is a boutique Enrolled Agent firm providing tax preparation, planning, and IRS representation for individuals, families, and small business owners.
Fully remote • Secure client portal • Serving clients nationwide
Filing your return is table stakes. The real work is the strategy before and after — that's what an EA-led boutique does differently.
Federal and state filing for individuals, sole proprietors, LLCs, S-corps, and partnerships — including amendments and multi-state returns. Accurate, thorough, on time.
Year-round planning so your return confirms good decisions — quarterly estimates, S-corp election analysis, retirement and income timing.
As a federally licensed EA, I represent you before the IRS — audits, notices, payment plans, and penalty relief — without you having to be in the room.
Entity structure decisions, major purchase impacts, hiring questions, and books cleanup — so your records reflect reality and your deductions are defensible.
Bey Tax & Advisory is a boutique, solo EA practice — which means when you work with me, you work with me. Not a rotating associate, not a faceless prep team. Me.
I work with individuals, families, and business owners who need more than an annual filing. Tax strategy is year-round work, and that's how I approach every client relationship.
As a federally licensed Enrolled Agent, I hold the only tax credential awarded directly by the federal government — and can represent you before the IRS in any state, on any matter.

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is licensed directly by the U.S. Department of the Treasury — the highest credential the IRS awards to tax professionals. It's earned by passing a rigorous three-part federal examination covering individual and business taxation, plus a background check and ongoing continuing education. The license carries unlimited practice rights: an EA can prepare returns, advise on strategy, and represent any taxpayer before the IRS — audits, appeals, and collections — in all 50 states.
A CPA is licensed at the state level and works across the broader field of accounting — auditing, financial statements, and business finance — with tax as one area among many. Both credentials are held to strict ethics standards, and both can represent clients before the IRS. The practical difference is focus: an EA's entire license is dedicated to taxation. If what you need is tax preparation, planning, or help with the IRS, that's exactly what the EA credential exists for.
